Evening hearing from Israel/Palestine
We are delighted to welcome Church of Scotland minister the Rev. Muriel Pearson, who has spent the past 4 years serving in Tiberias. She will talk about her experience, the people she has met, the organisations we partner with, the work they do to promote peace and justice, the current situation on the ground, and what we can do to help. Muriel is a chaplain to Tabeetha School in Jaffa-Tel Aviv, where children of all religions and ethnic backgrounds attend school together and learn peacemaking as well as a rigorous English-language academic curriculum; and to the Scots Hotel in Tiberias, which is the only Christian-run hotel in the area and the only one to have staff from Christian, Jewish, and Muslim backgrounds all working together.
Muriel will speak from 7pm, including a time for questions from the audience. All are welcome.
