Minister-Elect
Following this morning’s service where Reverend Teri Peterson preached as Sole Nominee, we are delighted to announce that Teri is now our minister-elect.
Further details will follow once a date has been agreed for Teri’s Induction as minister of our congregation and parish.
Biography
Teri Peterson is a minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), from Chicago Presbytery, in the process of transferring to the Church of Scotland. She has been doing a familiarisation placement at Marchmont St. Giles Parish Church in Edinburgh, having moved to Scotland in May. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from DePaul University in Chicago. In addition to serving churches in the Chicago suburbs for over a decade, Teri also spent a year as a missionary in Egypt, and several months as a volunteer with the Iona Community.
