Long service certificates awarded.
SEVEN of our Elders have received certificates in recognition of their long service within the congregation and parish.
Mike Dick, Alec Fairhurst, Rab Gowans, Cameron Melville, Brian Ross, Tommy Thomson and John Wright were presented with their certificates by Locum Minister, Reverend Dr Johnston McKay last Sunday morning (18 June 2017).
Alec, who was Ordained in 1978, received his certificate on his retiral as Freewill Offering Convener after 43 years, while Tommy, who was Ordained in 1968, is leaving the congregation to be closer to his family.
